4 Magical Ways to Close Out the Summer in Orange County

Published In : 25-07-2023

Orange County, for most, is a fantastical place — one of glamour and prestige and excitement. Its pristine beaches draw people in as effortlessly (and almost as often) as the tides pull sand into the ocean. Once in the water, athletes enjoy a variety of water sports, many of which are fun for the whole family. Want to stay dry? Then dig your feet into the sand and post up one of the beach. Want to beat the heat? Then take the kids roller skating or to explore one of the many wonderful kids museums.

As a longtime moving company in Orange County, people are constantly asking our crew members where they can go for a good time after their move is complete. We usually offer up the following suggestions:

The beach — any beach.
Spending a day on one of the soft, luxurious beaches in Orange County is one of the best ways to pass the time. Visit Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Crystal Cove, or the world-famous Laguna Beach where you can enjoy a beachside bear and burger — just don’t forget the sunscreen!

Newport’s Bay Back.
The quintessential place for water sports rentals, Newport Bay Back is where thousands of people rent kayaks, paddle boards and canoes every season. Some of our Orange County movers even enjoy wave runners and Duffy boats (after work, of course!).

A museum (or two or three or…)
If you have children, consider exploring the Bowers Kidseum, Pretend City or the Discovery Science Center, where your little ones can learn and be engaged all at once!

Theme parks, anyone?
Knott’s Berry Farm, Adventure City, California Adventure Balboa’s Fun Zone, Boomers and, of course, Disneyland are all located conveniently in Orange County. Come for the day and leave with priceless memories.
